Dear Consumer Affairs, I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the service provided by Jpay, a company that provides electronic communication and entertainment services to inmates. My brother, Brad Faver #1178233, has been a loyal customer of Jpay for a long time and has always been satisfied with their services. However, his recent experience with the company has been extremely frustrating and has left us with no choice but to reach out to you for help. My brother had filed a trouble ticket with Jpay, informing them that his Jpay tablet was broken with a crack on the back. The company responded by saying that he was approved for a new tablet and even provided him with a RMA number, assuring him that a new tablet would be on its way. However, months went by and my brother still did not receive the promised tablet. He tried to follow up with the company, but all his efforts were in vain. After six months of waiting, my brother finally received a response from a person named Mr. Smith, who works at the prison where my brother is incarcerated. Mr. Smith informed my brother that in January, two months after being approved for a new tablet, he was suspended by Jpay. This news came as a shock to my brother as he had no idea why he would be suspended. This has to be a mistake as my brother has been a loyal and responsible customer of Jpay Resolution Sought I would like for jpay company to overturn the suspension that was done with out due process and send him the new tablet that they already promised Brad Faver #1178233 Lawrenceville corrections center in Virginia.

In 2017 I purchased a Jpay tablet while being housed at SATF in Corcoran on Facility "C". Now, five years later at SATF, on Facility "B". Per memorandum dated July 22, 2022 I was ordered to turn in my JPay tablet to staff officials at SATF. But staff officials did not collect the JPay tablets until August 2022. JPay staff officials picked up the JPay tablets from SATF around March 2023. Now as of today, the JPay company still has not sent the thumb drive or my tablet to my family. I spent over one thousand and five hundred on music, games, books, and for the tablet. I just want to be recompensated. Resolution Sought Resolve this matter ASAP.
