I brought my car to this shop because my car had an air vacuum issue and it would not stay running when I put it in gear, when I drove my car into the shop I told the mechanic (Henry) my problem and a few other problems with my muffler, Henry request a day later that I bring him spark plugs and coils, which I had already ordered because I was going to do it myself. He then stated he put oil in my vehicle because I had an oil leak. He said he would repair the oil leak, he said he would repair my cat, and give me a tune up. when I called him Friday evening to see if my car was fixed he said yes, he fixed every issue and it would cost me $750. When I went to pick up my car " Henry" was not there. He had left my key with someone else. He wanted me to tell him $350 and to give the guy that had my key the remainder of the money, I was short $50, he will not give me a receipt until I give him $50, He said he fixed everything and $750 was for parts and labor. I provided the tune up parts. He provided the synthetic oil, air filter and welded a hub on my exhaust. I still have a oil leak and he told me he repaired everything. When I bought him my car and told him I still had an oil leak " he asked me for an additional $180 and this is where I have an issue. I too have an issue because he won't give me a receipt. Resolution Sought I would like to sue him for taking my money knowing he did not fix everything and he refuses to give me my receipt until I pay him $50. Why would I give him anymore money when he did not complete his repairs and he charged me all this money for stuff that was worth far less? He over charged me.
