I paid Justin Downum $4000 to defend my son. After the 1st few months he wouldn't answer my calls. Would not call me back when message was left. He never talked to my son until he needed papers signed at the end, today. Lied to me the one time he did talk to me after the first 2 months. The only reason I got to talk to him then is because I used my husbands phone they did not know his # so office answered. He did not do anything to defend my son. Never talked to us. I do not think he did the job I paid him for. Has not called me to tell me what happened in court today. When I hired him he said he would keep me informed. He has not. I called the office this morning after my son called and said they were not doing what Justin told me months ago they were going to do. He lied. I told the office girl who surprised me by answering I was very upset with Justin and needed to talk to him. He never called. I am a law abiding citizen. Never had trouble with anyone until now. Would not want anyone else to get taken advantage of like I was. Resolution Sought I would like the money back I paid for a job that did not get done. My son had no defense this whole time. I need that money to hire a real lawyer that will actually defend him.

Per consumer called to inform complaint is now resolved. The attorney returned her call today and provided her with an update and information she was requesting on the case. Therefore at this item there is no further problems.
