Owner of company mislead me into thinking that he found damaged main lines to sewage field box, suppose to remove and replace tree root damaged pipe, promise me pictures, schematics on pipe lines, damaged repaired old pipes and invoice. I did pay him $10,000. $$5,00 down and on the day of paying balance he pretended on the way to my home that he will have everything as promised that was on 10/06. I've been calling him, testing him every day since then and he still has failed to show back up to finish the job, and to show me pic, permits, the old pipes he replaced and to give me an invoice. I'm sixty eight years old. Resolution Sought I want at least $7000 back, because he did repair/replaced pump and clear off some trees from my yard. I would like to be compensated for the tractor damaged tracks running through my yard and the neighbors

Pumped 1000 gallon dosing tank. Replaced forced main from the top of the hill on property to the distribution box. 120'. Installed a 3/4 120v effluent pump. Installed new check valve for pump. Cut down and cleared trees and heavy brush in the drain field area. The system is working properly at this time. Customer understands that the drain field is taking the water that the pump is pumping to the distribution box. There is no way of knowing how long the drain field will last. The system is approx.19 years old. Customer understands that the work done to the system on this invoice does not affect the drain field itself. There was no work or repairs done to the drain field on this invoice therefore there is no warranty on the drain field. There is a 2 year warranty on the pump and a 7 year warranty on the forced main. While doing the repairs listed on this invoice it was raining the entire week, this affected the proper cover up and the clearing of all the brush over the drain field area, customer understand we will return within 7-14 days to finish up the clearing and to smooth out the areas dug up. Customer advised the tank should be pumped every 3-5 years. If customer notices any wet spots in the area of the drain field she should call us immediately. There was no permit pulled for the type of repair work done on this invoice. The state does not require a permit on this type of repair

Customer Rebuttal

K&J Services initially told me a permit and schematics will be obtained. I know once a permit obtained, inspectors get involved. K&J never produced permit nor schematics or old distribution box and over 50’ of so called replaced drain pipes leading to distribution box from pump that I asked for several times. I recently received from Wind River schematics of my drain line) Clayton County Environmental Health did just recently informed me that no permit was needed and informed me that $10,000 could have bought me a whole new system. If I knew that no permit was involved I would of not hired K&J. I just recently received from a reputable company and their quote of $2500. As of today 10/15/2021 I have not received any monies from K&J. The only thing done is the new pump and clearing a small area of trees. K&J services has now a Clayton County police report #21058017 and more legal actions had been initiated. Also K&J altered the proposal. I have the original proposal on file.
