Poor Customer Service.
I am a regular customer to this location and naturally the employees in this location are super friendly which is appreciated because I shop here regularly with my family. Today however, was not one of those situations and it's very disappointing because I walked into this location with my sister who is a smoker and she picked up her items as I picked mine. We made our way to the register to pay for our items separately, she was in front of me to pay for her items and asked the young lady Lesly for a pack of black & mild filter tip box and the young lady asked her for her ID, which I can understand because it's the law. However, asking me for my ID when it's not my transaction shouldn't impact my sisters purchase because we had two separate transactions and I kindly advised the young lady that it's not my transaction. The manager who operates the facility said she wasn't able to sell her the item because my ID wasn't present. Naturally I wouldn't mind going back to get my ID but when I'm a regular customer and half of your staff knows who I am and my husband shops their regularly it shouldn't impose someone else's purchase. To top things off they did not ask my sister to remove the mask she was wearing to make sure it was her. We then left to Wawa and purchased there and we were able to get our items. I did return to this location to grab peanut butter crackers and asked her if I needed an ID she said no because your not purchasing tobacco. To please retrain their employees.
