Customer Complaint

Contracted with DBR (Deck Builders Remodeling & Construction formally known as KCH Design Cory Harvey) to construct a lower deck and a roof over a smaller upper deck. Mr. Harvey completed the lower deck and started the one day project of the roof March 6, 2021. Half way through the project Mr. Harvey was paid $1000.00 for the roof but once paid he pulled out without completing the roof. Roof covering hanging down on both sides, not properly secured and roof is leaking in may places. Rain cutter was also not installed. Material cost for the deck almost twice the estimate. Mr. Harvey continued to ask for more money for materials. Resolution Sought Option 1. Come finish the project. Option 2. Find reliable contractor to complete the job for him. I expect Mr. Harvey to pay the new contractor since he has been paid but not completed the job. Option 3. Refund $500 to me.
