I hired Kelly and Bramwell as my Divorce Attorney in 2010.He charged me 10,000,, then said when it was over that I still owed him 6,000. We wanted to work out an amount or set up arrangements, then a few months later he put a lien on my Home for 11, 300.00. I am now ready to refinance and he said the amount is now up to 33,000.00,however he will be nice and charge me 20,000,00. Ryan Kelly said that he has been charging me 18intetest. I told him, I have not received any statements of it being that amount and that he has not updated that amount with the Assessors office which I think has to be every 10years. I asked Ryan Kelly to show me the Contract that I signed showing I agreed to the 18percent. He has refused. The Title Company said you need to prove it's higher than the Assessors office of the 11,300.00. He has been avoiding the question and told them it's 19,300.00till August 15th . I am worried what that means. I need help. I feel he is trying to defraud me .He has learned I want to refinance so he is trying to raise the amount without updating the amount through the Assessors Office, nor sending me up to date Statements and also not producing a Contract. Resolution Sought I need a demand letter sent to Ryan Kelly to produce a Contract. I want to know if he can add money on a lien without updating with The Assessors office, nor sending me statements. I want his legal practices reviewed to see if this is legal of what he is doing. Thank you so much
