Asked person to reroof shed so would not leak. Gave me a quote. Hired him and as he was working he kept pointing out anomalies in the shed. I kept pressing as long as it doesn't leak. After finishing, he asked for his payment IN CASH, no check. Demanded I be at the bank at 9am and get the money while he waited. Then proceeded to tell me the shed roof brace had a dip and he couldn't guarantee me it wouldn't leak. When I accused him of not being truthful he said "well, I guarantee it won't leak. Instead of bracing the support before putting the roof in, he suggested placing a POLE in the already tiny shed. I refused and told him he should start over to which he replied that if I wanted to pay him again. He also, according to me, made a disparaging remark or attitude about the Hispanic workers in the area. I handed him the cash (1,200.) and he drove off. Resolution Sought Get a refund from him!
