I was using a service called Kicksta for my business; it is a company that helps with Instagram growth. I cancelled my subscription on May 24th of 2021 - I have an email with proof of cancellation - they continued to charge me $119/mth through December of 2021. A total of 9 months and $1,071. In January I received a new debit card connected to the account that they were taking the money out of. The only reason I found out they were still charging me is because I got an email from my card holder - Square - that the transaction had been declined. I immediately reached out to the company and was told I was correct, that I had cancelled the account back in May of 2021. My rep requested screenshots of the charges which I sent them right away. They then told me that they would not refund me because even though I cancelled the account, they continued to do work. Most likely, my rep spoke to her boss and was told I can't dispute the charges past 60 days so there would be nothing I can do. I have a different company working on my Instagram that I hired on June 12th, so as far as I knew any growth I saw was being done by them. I reached out to Square about this and I was told I cannot dispute any charges beyond 60 days. This company stole from me, and not just a little bit, they committed grand larceny. I am going to contact as many people as I can to try to get help with this. Resolution Sought Refund my money.

The charges were through a partnership that we requested if the charges warranted or approved for a refund. We processed the full refund out of pocket expense since the services were provided. We wish communication started sooner on this case but the client changing their card caused issues on their end. Refund fully settled, from the goodwill of Kicksta.
