Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

May 2023 UGI contracted with Kiely to replace our natural gas lines in our neighborhood. When they replace the line on our property they moved our gas meter which cracked our gas line running in our home. We didn't notice the leak until September when we turned our furnace back on. UGI came out on 9/2/23 and turned off the gas when we reported the leak. Since the leak was in the home they would do the repair themselves. He had to pay our plumber to do the repair. UGI tech who turned off said because they crack the line when they moved the meter that we would be reimbursed. Kiely declined our claim originally saying they did t move the meter but we have proof they did. Now they declined to pay the claim saying they pressured check the line when they did the line replacement. But since they lie about moving the meter we don't believe they tested it. Resolution Sought Reimbursement
