We are in desperate need of help to expose a timeshare and its sales tactics. We were influenced to sign a contract with Kings Creek Plantation and have had nothing but one disappointment after another. We have ended up getting into a mound of debt without any benefit. It is now causing harm to our family because of one decision to get involved with a timeshare company that was basically looking to take advantage of us. Once we brought our concerns to the necessary people working at the timeshare, we were treated so rudely. We even spoke with a lady that told us she would help by telling us to explain our hardship. Once we gave information about how this has caused us so many problems, she decided to go back on her word about helping us. Her explanation was that she didn't mean to give us that option. She then refused to help us at all. We would just like them to take this timeshare and release us from any obligation tied to it. This has caused hardship for our entire family and we need to be free from it. They were not honest when we agreed to participate and we would like them to take responsibility for their actions. Resolution Sought Release us!

King's Creek Resorts received the owners request for a financial hardship on 12.31.2020. The initial request was denied due to delinquent maintenance fees on the account. Owners reached back out to owner services requesting how they would become eligible for a hardship. It was then stated to owners they must pay the fees current. The owners paid fees current and was given teh hardship forms to complete. From 4.16.21 until 12.20.22, our services team reached out to owners numerous times to follow up on the incomplete hardship form for us to process. Our last time trying to reach owner was on 12.20.22, where we spoke with customer and explained to him that contracts with active loans cannot be CXL without proof of hardship, they never followed up with completed forms. Advised him that hardship consideration was based on loss of income, not increase of expenses. He asked that we resend the forms to the confirmed email on file.
