Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. Customer Complaint

Sent a retainer for a potential divorce case in May 2023. Their policy is to return any unused retainer. Alerted them by email on 10/11/23 that we would no longer be needing their services. Since the case was under my daughter's name she needed to release the retainer. She did in Nov 2023. Upon talking to them they then told me that a release needed to be signed by her. This was never mentioned previously and their release that was sent certified mail was never received by us. In Dec they said that they would be "sending again that day" by certified mail. Jan 8, I called again and they said they verified that the letter was received and would be "sending the check" that day. I verified my name and address. As of Feb 1 2024 no check has been received. I called today and they told me that they would "check into it and call you back". Resolution Sought Refund retainer electronically to verify that it is actually received since they lie about their timelines and policies.

We sent retainer refund on 11/21/23 via certified mail. Reviewing the tracking data, mail was undeliverable. Ms. Ronald contacted us on 2/1/24 to inquire of refund. We discovered that the check was not received and sent a new payment to her on 2/7/24 via FedEx. Package was received and the issue resolved.
