I ordered a carpet cleaner off kohls.com for $288, in which I received $50 of " Kohls cash". I have been hospitalized for weeks. Unfortunately, by the time I was released the cash expired ?? being a single mom, I planned uaing this $ for a bday gift for my daughter. As this was out of my control being in the hospital with a very serious illness, I couldn't spend the cash. I tried/ begged the Kohls manager to reissue me it and refused to. The # on the cash was #318010246751684. I have been a Kohl's shopper for easily over 15 yrs. They couldn't make this one time exception to give me the cash I urned through my expensive purchase. Money is so tight for me like all of others. I'm so disgusted with the Kohls company. Resolution Sought I would like my $50 kohls cash I earned returned so I can purchase my child a bday gift.

I hope you're doing and feeling better. Please note that all Kohl's Cash coupons have an expiration date. As a courtesy, I emailed a new $50 Kohl's Cash coupon on 11/6/25. The coupon will be valid through 12/30/25. Thank you.

I Had Kohls cash that expired, I reached out to customer service to ask for it to be reinstated, I know this is not typically standard protocol for kohls, however I explain I had recently become a victim of some violence, I had an incident that left me homebound for about a week until the other party was arrested and served with a copy of my order of protection. therefore I was unable to go outside to shop or use my kohls cash because I was not able to leave my house for a bit out of an abundance of precaution. I spoke to a customer service representative however they were not able to help me. I have proof of my documents although I know this is sensitive information but it is to prove this is a real dilemma. When I was finally able to leave the house I went to kohls to and wa looking forward or using my kohls cash. I saved a copy of the chat with the customer service representative for reference . I came here to see if this message would bypass the first line of communication with customer and maybe reach another department that could oversee this. I hope to hear back from someone. I saved the original paper kohls cash as well for reference. thank you. Resolution Sought reinstate my kohls cash and see the conversation I had with the customer service agent for reference.

Hello, I received a concern regarding Ms. Ortiz's expired Kohl’s Cash that could not be reissued, as it had passed both the printed expiration date and the 5-day in-store grace period. I completely understand how disappointing it can be to miss the opportunity to use earned Kohl’s Cash. Please know that Kohl’s extends a 5-day grace period beyond the printed expiration date as a courtesy to our customers. This option is available in-store only and does not apply to Kohls.com orders. Once that window has passed, we’re unfortunately unable to honor the certificate, as the extension is not part of our formal policy. It may also help to note that this grace period applies only to Kohl’s Cash and not to Rewards. Rewards coupons are issued during the first week of each new month (if eligible), are valid for 30 days, and do not include a grace period. We truly value Ms. Ortiz as a customer and appreciate her understanding as we strive to remain fair and consistent in applying these policies for all Kohl’s shoppers. Upon review, I found no previous accommodations made for this customer; therefore, I will be reissuing the expired Kohl’s Cash as a one-time courtesy. I am currently awaiting Ms. Ortiz’s response to confirm the amount before proceeding. Thank you.
