Unprofessional and Unreliable

When an LAHD housing inspector told me that the washer/dryer location/hookups and the water heater installation were not up to city code, he said that any licensed plumber would be able to take care of that work in advance of our re-inspection a month later. The representative at LA Low Flush, took down my description of the problems over the phone and scheduled the work for almost a week after my call; I took off work for the scheduled day in order to watch the work and learn from the plumber. However, the plumber and owner of the company, called just one hour before he was scheduled to start the work and began offering his long list of why the work I was requesting wouldn't work. The suggestions that he offered included that I just have it all taken out instead of bringing it up to code. He had chosen not to notify me early on to let me know that he was either unwilling or unable to do the work that I had described the week earlier to his assistant, and had, instead, chosen to cancel our appointment at the very last minute -- leaving me with a week wasted in getting the work done, and a day off taken off work needlessly. Now I must find another licensed plumber -- this time, a real one -- who is willing to come out here and get this job done. The behavior of LA Low Flush Toilet has been entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. They misled me into thinking they would be capable and willing to do the work I had described to them -- or at least come out and give me written estimate on what it would take to get the work done. Finally, they cancelled at the very last moment. If you need professional, reliable, plumbing service, then stay far, far away from L.A. Low Flush Plumbing & Retrofitters. They are getting a grade of "F" here.
