I had my vehicle a 2012 chevy traverse, license plate# - PEREZ04 brought into this shop for a diagnostic. The mechanic Joel Hernandez diagnosed a bad head gasket. On 05/16/24 Joel Hernandez the mechanic charged me $3000.00 for the replacement of head gaskets, spark plugs, 5 and 1/2 quarts of oil and filter, 2 gallons of antifreeze and a complete valve job including related parts and labor according to the invoice. Upon final payment was left with a large oil leak coming from engine heads and valve covers along with the vehicle blowing out white smoke from the exhaust pipe. The vehicle did not have all these issues before the mechanic worked on the vehicle. The invoice stated 8 months warranty. The mechanic does not provide any resolutions for the new problems on the vehicle. There is evidence of improper diagnosing and improper installation of the service that the mechanic provided. I have had to hire a few tow trucks to take the vehicle back for evaluation. The vehicle is currently at the same mechanic shop with the address of 13825 e. Amar rd. La Puente, CA 91746. Resolution Sought I would like the business to issue a refund the amount of $3000.00 paid for diagnosing and head gasket job. Or replace engine for damages that were caused by improper installments.
