Here is a summary of the incident; When my Au-pair term was due to complete, I got in touch with this company http:/opencorporate.com/companies/us_ny/4900100 http://lacofgroup.com/ with recommendation from a friend I have made. She advised that she was assisted by this company and I did not want to do anything illegal to continue my stay. I got in contact with a Mr Late Lawson who was to be my case manager in the transition. I negotiated to pay the due amount in instalments, they agreed with the exception of paying the Non-refundable registration fee of $850. Indeed. I went ahead and paid $950 as my first payment and set up a standing order directed to the company of $100 starting from November 2019 which they confirmed to have received. The total amount of this work permit they were due to set up was a total of $2850. $850 Non-refundable registration - $2000 for the paper work. I will attach proof of payment herein and some of the conversation held prior. Due to the pandemic everything came to a stand still at nobodys fault. I remained patient and hopeful. In total I paid this company a total $950 + $1400. During the pandemic everything went quite and I heard nothing from them. When everything started going again I contacted the case manager to request a progress report on my case. They sent me an email stating that they have halted my Resolution Sought I am currently in South Africa and I need my money back. I have tried to contact Mr Lawson so many times regarding my refund. I have proof that the only amount non refundable is the initial $850 I paid. At this point I request all my savings that I paid to him for a service I did not receive.
