not true to their word

I recently bought a twin bed frame, mattress, and chest from their store on 8732 Tampa Ave., Northridge, CA 91324. Prior to purchasing, I specifically asked Julio if they deliver up the stairs and was ensured they would. The delivery man called me at work & stated he left the furniture in front of my garage door since he has been knocking on the door for 20 minutes. However, my husband has been awaiting their arrival so, I'm not sure how accurate that may be. While the driver was on the phone, I asked him if he would take up the furniture and he said not for the price we paid. I called and spoke with Julio and he asked why I was making a big deal out of this delivery since the furniture has arrived at the house already. He said the furniture was light and that I should have no problem taking it up the stairs. For me to return the purchase, as it is easier for me to load the van on the driveway than to take the furniture upstairs, I would be charged 25 of the total amount that I paid, that's including delivery and tax. I'm not sure if that's legal, but he states it is 25 of the total I paid, per their policy. Nonetheless, for me to keep the furniture, it is now up to me and my 65 year old mother to take the furniture up the stairs since I do not have anyone stronger to assist me in the next few days. Initially, I was quite impressed when we purchased the furniture because Julio was eager to to work with us. However, after this mishap, I am quite disappointed with their lack of customer service. If they state they will deliver up the stairs, they should be true to their word. They could have offered for the delivery guy to go back to the house, since it was only about 15 minutes after the delivery guy left when I got a hold of Julio. Prior to 'dropping off' the furniture in front of my garage, it would have been better for them to call me to at least let me know that was what they were going to do, instead of calling me after the fact. Yes, the stuff may be cheap, but so was the service they provided.
