Bought a used 2012 fusion March 2018. Direct withdrawal from checking account. Had an attorney call me that was investigating credit acceptance. They were giving kickbacks to Lagrange Toyota for years and still do . My monthly statement had 2 separate amounts due one 50 more than the one on th mail in stub if paid by check. Confronted C.A. as of last month they took out the lower amount. They have been sued by several states. Lagrange Toyota also charged me a substantial amount on gap ins without my consent or knowledge that I don't want or need . If they are giving kickbacks I have made 41 payments at the $50 extra and around 1300 for gap ins I was not given an option or made aware of. Resolution Sought Repay the 41 payments at 50 kickback and the cost of gap ins . I am on an SSI income and they prey on poor credit buyers to sell loan companies for kickback and extremely high interest rates

Credit Acceptance is lender that we use to provide financing for customers that have credit challenges and provide a option to the customers for Gap insurance and extended warranties to protect their investment if they choose to. We offer the customer that option and when we go over the paperwork they sign agreeing to the payment and options if they choose. Also Credit Acceptance does charge bank fees to take the risk for providing a loan to a higher risk customer and disclose this upfront in the finance truth and lending statement which the customers review and sign at the time of delivery.
