Well I took my truck in under the understanding that it was a freeze plug between the motor and a transmission it ended up being the heater core pipe they took off my intake and replace the pipe they also capped off a line which I do not believe should have been capped off cuz it wasn't capped off to begin with disconnected lines that are not put back on and now my truck has a blown head gasket which did not have it before it went in there and I don't understand whey they cap off this one line and then did not put the lines back on two of my spots they put a screw in and clamp on the one line when I called to ask them why they did this they said that it had something to do with the freezing and it didn't need it did not discuss anything with me about it until I called about it when I went to try to check out my truck and like I said my truck did not have a blown head gasket when it went in there it went in there for a leak I wasn't even able to drive my truck 2 mi down the road before it started overheating and I had to take it back to them the mechanic looked at it and did some chemical test and said it had a blown head gasket which was not that way to begin with he said it would be fine to drive home and then when I tried to leave their shop again it overheated immediately and I had to shut it down and have it towed home by a friend and they're claiming it's nothing to do with them I have witnesses that my truck ran just fine before it went in the shop. Resolution Sought Well I want my truck fixed I want the lines hooked up where they're supposed to be and I want my money back that I paid for them to work on my truck and I want them to pay for my truck to be fixed at a different shop preferably where a Certified mechanic is because I do not believe this man was Certified mechanic that worked on my truck because you wouldn't rig a truck up like that and you I should have been disgusted with on things that was done to my truck and I was not.

Company Response

Client had 2003 Ford F150 4x4 pickup, with over 276,000 miles towed in and stated that she believed it was a busted freeze plug because it was pouring water, and that as soon as she noticed the temperature gauge was overheating, she shut vehicle off. However, once the diagnosis was completed by the tech, he discovered water was coming from the crossover pipe, NOT the freeze plug. Technician repaired water leak on crossoever pipe. The 2003 F150 Ford after repair idled correctly but due to vehicle not having gas when towed in the vehicle wasn't driven off the property until the customer picked it up. The customer then stated the vehicle was overheating still so we asked her to bring back and once vehicle was brought back to our location it was determined to have a blown head gasket which was caused from overheating more likely. In regards to the complaint Ms. Kemp made in reference to her original water lines being hooked up properly. Ms. Kemp was explained numerous times that we had no issue of unhooking the lines as she had when it was towed in at no additional charge. The only reason why the lines were unhooked were because of rust and still leaking however it is a line that is designed to help heat water in colder temperatures not a problem for a Florida resident, however, as stated we offered multiple times to put back, she declined.
