A long time customer at LAN nails until today. I went to the Salon for a manicure and toe polish change. The services I usually received were an overlay and toe polish,. Due to the Corona virus and unable to do my own nails I stated I would not get the overlay again b/c it damaged my nails too badly, and I would only get a manicure and grow my own nails once the shop opens. I received the services of a manicure and toe polish. I never argue with the prices of rendered services. I was charged $36 for those services, and was told the machine asked for my pin #, and was asked if I wanted to give her my pin# so she could put it in. Really.??? Wrong person.....So, she rung it up as a credit and brought the receipt to me to sign, $36, Which caused me to change my entire demeanor. She stated b/c of the corona virus she has to pay for this;, pointing to a bottle with "lotion" written on it, something you paid for prior to the corona virus.... She asked for my number stating she will call me. I left the salon. It's now 10:19pm I have not received a phone call, the charge will be disputed, and a call will be made to the Better Business Bureau, and I did not sign the receipt.... I tipped both of the ladies who provided the services, I could not take my anger out on them. Post prices. Do not ask customer for pin #. Tell the customer the price for service prior to swiping their card. Do not use price gouging by stating "it's because of Corona virus"
