I purchased a 2022 Honda CRV 2022 , I bought my car cash . I went to seek my car thru car max but to my surprise I was informed they had put down that I financed the car and did not pay in Cash. I went to the dealer the same day I was informed to get this corrected so car max can purchase my car for $24,000. I was given the run around from on person to another till finally they came to me and said they can just purchase the car back from me but they couldn't given $24.000 only $23,000, of course I said no that they needed to correct the mistake so car max could purchase my car at the price they were offering me. The manager at the dealer said they could correct it in the system but it would take ten days for it to clear and show that the title was Dee and clear. My offer was CarMax would have expired by then and they knew that so that's why they were offering me $1,000 less. I feel they owe me that $1000 because it was a mistake done in their dealership reporting that the car was financed when it was paid in full in cash . Resolution Sought To pay me my $1,000 that they short hand me . I feel it's only fair because the error was made by them.
