Laser Away Medical Group complaints

Laser away contacted me in December 2023 after I filled out an interest request on Facebook. I was contacted by a sales person and when I explained what I wanted, I was told that it wouldn't be a problem. I explained how much I wanted to spend and again was told no problems. Then came the sales pitch, offering me lots of free products that I found out we're not even available in the area in which I purchased. I was told I qualified to have these services provided. Everything seemed on the up and up. I provided my debit card information and set up my appointment. I was shocked to say the least when I received a bill in January 2024 for a monthly payment of $113. That looks like a contract, I was never told that I would be on a contract for service such as lip filler. I was sold something that was not Botox, which is what I originally contacted LaserAway for some cheap byproduct. I was very disappointed. I had issues with eye drooping and facial paralysis, my lip split open because too much filler was applied , I contacted the company and was given false information and promises that were not kept . I filed a dispute with my bank for service is not rendered as expected. This company has the nerve to harass me for a payment for products that I never received. I cannot get anyone to fix these issues. This should be closed down!! It is a scam and a rip off! I want the money that I have paid back and I want the contract that I didn't know I was signing canceled immediately and I w Resolution Sought Refund my money. Cancel the fake contract

In March of 2021, I purchased a tattoo removal package from LaserAway, located on 17th Street in Costa Mesa, CA. The agreed upon price was $2449.00, a sum promptly charged to my CareCredit card. Unanticipatedly, the sales representative contacted me soon after the initial transaction to convey an error in the quotation due to their miscalculation, resulting in an underestimation of $150. As a gesture of good faith, I paid the additional sum. Throughout the course of the following two years, during my regular treatment visits at LaserAway, there was never an indication or mention of an additional outstanding balance on my account. Recently, however, LaserAway has surprisingly claimed an extra $200 balance, insisting it was part of the original quote. This claim, with no prior communication or evidence provided, is concerning. Despite my proactive attempts to rectify this situation directly with LaserAway, the issue remains unaddressed. This complaint, therefore, aims to underscore LaserAway's questionable billing practices, requesting a comprehensive investigation into this matter.
