Had a problem with my hot water heater in my rental house thy sent a service man he charged me 176.50 to look at it 4 days later put in a new one and got a bill for 2345.00 that is outrageous. Resolution Sought Get some money back the price was ridiculous.

I reviewed the account of the customer in question and found the following. • The customer was charged a total of $176.50 for our first visit to his property. This was the dispatch fee for sending out the technician and the labor charges for the technician's work in diagnosing the system while on site. • We quoted the customer for replacement of a failed part and we returned 2 days later with the part to replace it. Upon replacing that part and attempting to fire up the system another failed part was revealed, putting the customer in a position at which it was no longer cost effective to repair the system. • We recommended replacement of the system and quoted the customer for the replacement. He accepted the replacement cost and we removed the aforementioned part as well as any charges associated with replacing the part. • We replaced the system for the agreed upon price, $2,345.57. The customer was in agreement with our pricing prior to work being performed and did not dispute it until after completion of aforementioned work. Thank you
