I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent experience with Lennar Mortgage, which has been both deeply disappointing and distressing. I have encountered multiple instances of discrimination, a severe lack of assistance, and ongoing delays in receiving my earnest money refund—an issue that has now placed me under the threat of eviction. After numerous conversations, I was informed that my earnest money would be returned within two weeks. However, despite my patience and repeated follow-ups, no refund has been issued to date. I spoke with Morris Smith, who advised that he handles reimbursements. Mr. Smith connected me with my sales representative, Jocelyn Davis, who has failed to respond to my calls, messages, or emails. This lack of communication and accountability has caused significant hardship and financial strain. Throughout this process, I have experienced repeated unfulfilled promises, misleading information, and unprofessional treatment. I have multiple emails and text messages documenting these interactions, which clearly demonstrate mishandling of my file and unethical conduct. The dismissive approach and unwillingness of any representative to take responsibility have made this situation unnecessarily stressful and have impacted my livelihood. At this point, I am attempting to resolve this matter privately and amicably. However, if I do not receive my earnest money refund and written confirmation of resolution by October 20, 2025 Resolution Sought I am seeking the immediate return of my full earnest money deposit, which was promised to be refunded within two weeks following the cancellation of my home purchase. The failure to issue this refund within the stated timeframe constitutes a breach of good faith and fair dealing, and has directly resulted in financial harm. Due to the delay and lack of communication from Lennar Mortgage representatives—including repeated unfulfilled assurances and failure to respond to inquiries—I have

Customer Complaint

I am a new homeowner on a new build townhouse at Bryans Village in Bryans Road, MD. I closed on 11/28/2022. I've since submitted several tickets to the customer service department to have some defects fixed in my home. This morning I had a virtual appointment with Catherine Beall, customer care representative. Through a link she shared I always able to show her rotting ( holes) in the baseboards and cracked caulk between the backsplash and countertops. Miss Beal proceeded to tell me that these are cosmetic construction defects that should have begun addressed during the final walkthrough and are not covered under warranty. These items are most certainly covered under warranty and I was told by the Assistant Construction Manager Alex that all of these issues would be fixed when I submit work tickets. The house is less than 2 MONTHS old and is literally crumbling in certain areas. They try to just caulk and paint over issues and defects but because this doesn't actually fix the issues it looks terrible again. Resolution Sought I would like for Lennar to address all issues that I submitted tickets for or give me money to pay an experienced worker to complete.
