The transaction was October 10th. Lensabl is a company that I have used before, in fact even this year, and had not experienced a problem. They take frames and put prescription lenses inside. I mailed by $400 Gucci frames to them, brand new. At first, I got an email saying there had been a problem and they had to redo them. This was very worrying, as there should be no problem. So they took a second attempt to do it. Afterwards, they mailed them to me. Upon receipt of them, the arms of the glasses are now fully curved and bent so that they do not stay on anyones face. They first advised that I take it to a local optical shop and ask them to fix them. I did so, but as neither the frame or lenses came from there they would not. So lensable asked me to mail them in again, which I did. This time, they were returned, and even more bent. I submitted photos showing them. At this point, I am done working with them, but they refuse to refund my money for the lenses, or the replacement frames. They are asking me to return them (This will in total be the 4th time). I obviously do not trust them to actually fix them, and based on the unprofessional responses I got from their order manager- I will not in the end get any compensation either way. It is a complete scam they are running- Damaging glasses and taking no responsibility, and trying to deny refunding money because I won't send them in for a shocking 4th attempt. Resolution Sought I would like a full refund ($88) of the lenses. That is what I paid to them. I would also like cost of my lenses refunded/replaced, but I do not know how about getting them to do that as they destroyed them but obviously I bought them at Gucci not from them directly.

We reviewed this case and from the photos provided by the customer, the frames do not appear to be damaged but rather just need to be adjusted. The only way for us to determine if the frames were damaged, would to have the customer send into us to be inspected. The customer was advised via email that if the frames are damaged upon repair, we will of course replace them. We provided a label to have the customer send back the frames to which they refuse.

This is completely out of context and wholeheartedly incorrect. What they failed to mention in their response is that we have ALREADY been through this process. I did send them back to them, let them inspect them, let them be “adjusted”- the whole thing. They then mailed them back to me, not only not adjusted, but worse than before. They have had a chance to adjust them but they could not do so. So it is just a constant cycle of mailing them back and forth, so it appears they are responding to the problem when in reality they have destroyed them and their only “solution” is to keep mailing them back again. Their language to me was inflammatory and combative, and I have zero faith they will do anything but mail them back for a 3rd time in the same (or worse) condition. There is no excuse for this behavior, and it is nothing but gaslighting that they are attempting to act like I have refused their help. They owe me an immediate refund for both the frames and the lenses. Period.
