I am reaching out to you for help and assistance with my account with Lester Reality. My name is Melissa West. In November of last year 2022 I worked with Lester Reality c to cosign and be added to the lease for my dad who was getting out of the hospital after having his leg amputated. I got him a place with Lester reality and we are both on the lease..The property was at 4317 Douglas Ave in Klamath Falls. On 11/22 to sign the lease and pick up the keys. I paid the security deposit and first months rent as is shown in the account ledger. The security deposit was paid by me during signing and I have a receipt, copy of the cashed checks and screen shots of ledger showing paid for by Melissa West. On 6/22 keys were turned in. The 30 day notice was put in via email on 5/28 and they accepted it on 6/1. My dad passed away on 6/30. I am on the lease but the company is refusing to mail the refund check. I have made several attempts via phone and email to resolve the situation. Kathy the manager states she is sending the check but never does. Now on 8/11 she hung up on me. The ledger in the account shows its still lot corrected as of 8/15. Kathy continues to state they took me off the lease which is not true. I have a copy of the lease and my dad was bed ridden and did not drive. I confirmed with his ride company he never was taken there to sign a new lease and I never signed a form being taken off. This company is making false statements to not pay back the security deposit. Resolution Sought Refund security deposit of $931.10 which is owed according to their ledger on their app and confirms by manager Kathy.
