On 10/18/22, I purchased a new RX350 from Lexus of Orland Park. Have always taken my car there for all maintenance service...tire rotations every 5K miles, oil & filter & wheel alignment. On 7/8/22, brought in for a routine tire rotation & was told I have 2 tires "with excessive & uneven wear" & should be replaced by this winter. The tires have only 24,451 miles. Ecopia tires are warranted to 70K miles. They told me to contact Bridgestone which I did on 7/11/22. Bridgestone gave me a reference number & told me to take it to a Firestone dealer for measurement. On 7/15/22, the Firestone manager measured...L at 3/4/4 & R at 1/4/4. At less than 25K miles they should be at 7. Met with Joe Pervazas, Lexus service mgr on 8/1/22. Recapped, Joe pulled up his records & verified all work done (6 tire rotations since purchase and alignment on 11/18/21). He said he would contact Bridgestone & get back. After over a wk no call so I reached out to him. Service consultant Nick Reid left a v.m. that Bridgestone would only pay for 1/2 of one tire & recommended an alignment. No mention of what Lexus would offer. Since then I have emailed to Joe P. as well as Keith OMeara, service dir, & Chris Kolalis, general mgr. Still no response. A customer's assumption is that when you pay for service, the work s/be done correctly. That has not been my case. I hope w/your intermediary, this can be resolved. Please confirm receipt of complaint and hope you can help! Resolution Sought Cover the cost of two new replacement tires and wheel alignment as soon as possible. Per their quote, it would be $458.99 plus tax (this includes the credit of $129.50 from Bridgestone). I shouldn't have to pay for their oversight.
