This company called me claiming that they work for the Department of Education (DOE) claiming that for a yearly fee of $88.89 and then a 4 year payment of $20 and my debit would be completely forgiven. After 8 months the case manager who signed me up reached out to me letting me know this company is a scam. After further research I've found I'm not the only one who's been scammed. I spoke with my loan holder and they confirmed this was a scam. If the DOE offers or sets up a loan forgiveness they do NOT require or ask for money. Furthermore I was advised that the DOE does not work with companies like these. When I reached out to Liberty documents processing to find out where my money was going they told me it's there "fees" then when I proceeded to request my money back, my contract has a 100 money back guarantee they refused! They were very very rude! They disclosed information about the employee who was my case manager, which is illegal. They were probably trying to make there company look better by telling me bad stuff about the case manager but it just made their business seem even more shady. Resolution Sought I would like my money back. I would also like this business be held accountable for their actions and unable to do this to other people.

We Liberty Document Processing never claim to be or work with the Department of Education, We prepare documents and send them to the Department of Edcation on behalf of the consumer. In regards to a previous employee reaching out to clients/Consumer that indeed was a problem, I can only say that employee demanded pay when he was let go for personal reason, what the employee did was illegal. If a refund was not issued it was due to the fact that Liberty completed work on behalf of the client/consumer. The resolution deparment tried several times reaching out to Ms Connaughty with no luck to properly explained what was done on her behalf and the reason no refund could be issued. In the contract she signed that the client signed its clearly states: Important Disclosure: The services described and performed by LDP.COM on behalf of the Client for a nominal fee can be conducted by the individual directly through the Department of Education (DOE) without paying a fee. You may wish to attempt to complete the application and consolidate or change your loan repayment plan for your student loan without incurring a fee this way. The contract was signed by Ms Connaughty on 09/15/2022.

Well obviously the people who work for this company are rude and unprofessional! First off You can NOT talk about why you fired an employee! Second the contract straight up says you work for the DOE! I tried to get ahold of Ms. Janice but when I would try to return her call I was never sent to her directly and when I tried to return her calls on the number she gave and there was never an answer. I spoke with a different employee 3 times who was very rude, disclosed information about your former employee, and hung up on me!My final opinion was made after checking out this company online! I found 1 good review along with several SEVERAL reviews about this company being a scam and doing the sam exact thing to them! After talking to the DOE I’ve learned they do NOT work with companies like this! I apologize to the company for hiring someone who may or may not be a good employee is NOT my problem! I looked into his allegations and found he was right! So if your company has people like that dealing with my personal stuff, which I’ve had to go through the trouble to change my account and report my SSN. I don’t do business with shady companies! Ms Connaughty, We are not sure who you have spoken with at Liberty Document Processing, and we do apoogize anyone was rude, Ms Janice in the resolution department reached out to you every time you called and requested a call back, so it seems like bad timing each time in both parts, In regards to the previous employee unfortunately the company had to deal with a bad employee, and legal action has been taken. In regards to other complaints we unfortunately can not control the miscommunication /misundestanding some clients/consumers take in regards to the SERVICE Liberty Document Processing provideds. In regards to your account Ms Connaughty we provided a servicve and got you approved on a EXCELLENT repayment program with the lender. So the decision stands firm, we have cancelled your account, and removed any personal information.
