I have Likewise Insurance thru Boost mobile for device protection. I filed a claim in December 2023. Likewize sent a refurbished replacement device that has same problem as my original device. They want to charge me another 53.50 deductible to replace the sub par refurbished replacement device they sent me. Better Business (altered version) I lost my Samsung Galaxy S 22 phone. Boost Mobile is partnered with Likewize to provide phone insurance for their customers. Thus, I called Likewize on 12-20-23 at 7pm to file a claim. I spoke with a representative named Nikka and paid a $100.00 deductible to receive a new device. I asked Nikka would I be receiving my same device. Nikka assured me that I would be receiving a replacement Samsung Galaxy S 22. I picked my phone up two days later and it was not a Samsung Galaxy S 22, but rather a Galaxy A 32 (an inferior phone). I immediately called Likewize to inform them of the mishap. However, in the meantime, I did have to activate the A 32, because I needed a phone for work and urgent matters. It has been two weeks and I have been getting the run around from numerous representatives at Likewize. I was originally told that I would receive my correct phone but it never came. On 1-5-24, I spoke with a supervisor named Todd, and he told me that I cannot receive my correct device until I turn in the wrong device that they sent me. Then, they would refund my 100.00 and I would have to file a claim all over again. This is an absolute inconvenience for me and could take a long time. I cannot go without a phone, because I have to work and I use my phone for urgent matters. Also, it was not my fault that I was sent the incorrect phone. I feel that Likewize should immediately send me the correct phone and then, I will ship them the incorrect Resolution Sought I would like my correct phone immediately shipped or the retail value of a Samsung Galaxy S 22.
