This is a very shady company Have learned that we were given poor information from the first day we applied for a mortgage . I was injured at work and had to apply for hardship. The whole process was a nightmare. Should take 30 days for approval. Filled out paperwork 3 -4 different times. Was told time after time they needed more info. We sent what they asked for. The hardship was approved. Before we knew it, our loan was sold to Midland morgage. Tried to make.our first payment in Jan 2025. Was told they h!!ad no.information on our loan from Loan depot. Tried to.get information. from loan depot., was a pain. One hand doesn't know what the other is. doing. on a scale of 1-10....1 being lowest. I'd give them a -10. BEWARE Resolution Sought Would like all my paperwork from loan depot from first date of application til the.sale and transfer to MIDLAND. And would like others to be aware that they are very SHADY

I bought a property for the first time in my life using a FHA loan. The property I purchased through loan depot did not meet FHA requirements at all, I didn't;t know. I am 100 disabled they know I am and on a fixed income. Loan deport required me to provide them personal financial documents I didn't realize my savings was on those documents they did. The agent and loan officer was my ex wife's they knew I received those funds through the divorce on the sell of our property. The insulation in the attic was missing has to be 13in in OK for FHA requirements, windows 80 was in operable another FHA violation, the electrical the sellers spliced. Into the knob and tube they have bring the property to current regulations, the foundation lots of damages the sellers concealed. Led paint on the exterior windows. While I didn't know the sellers are responsible for the pre existing damages same principle is applied with VA loans, loan depot used conventional AS IS purchase through the purchase of this property and recorded it a county as a FHA loan. I had a company come out to see the cost to install insulation in the attic the company asked me when I bought it and did I do a AS IS I told the gentleman no I did a FHA he informed me it will not pass FHA appraisal at all its a huge violation. That's when I began to do discoveries. Loan depot also went into the dwelling and changed the original their appraisal of 164k to 349k, which the property is only worth 128k. There's a lot more. Resolution Sought I never met the requirements to get the property via debt to income ratio, my monthly income is non taxable at $2266 the original loan was $980 a month they raised it to $1180. I put over 30 down. They scammed me out of $40,000k. The home never met FHA requirements at all. I'm seeking $80k to either be removed from the principal or to pay me all the money I paid including for the damages I was never responsible for. Ever. The loan officer getting married wasn't even at closing.
