This company price gauges people and takes advantage of the elderly with Alzheimer's. The company charged $900.00 to (wanted to charge $1000) to replace one garage motor. After research , the average cost is $550 for one replacement with labor. I called to complain and the customer service did not follow up with me. I tried to email the owner and their email is a scam. Lgdc356@gmail.com. Is not a valid email. I need to let people know not to use this company as they are taking advantage of people ! This is unfair and not a good business Resolution Sought I would like some type of adjustment, reduction in cost. $200.00 credit

Hello & thank you very much for reaching out to us regarding your concerns. I’ve reviewed your concerns and reviewed the job we’ve performed for you; I’m happy to address your concerns. Every single garage door companies landscape & business model is different. As for us, we offer a free assessment and a free estimate during the week; there was no cost for this whatsoever. We are set up this way strategically to prevent customers feeling like they’re committed to doing work with us; many other companies charge a service call fee just to provide an estimate. Also by design, all of our technicians are paid by the hour so they have no incentive whatsoever to try and hike up the price or sell you on unnecessary parts that you don’t actually need; the technicians go straight off our price book built into their iPads. This price book has been built for our company based on what price point we as a company are comfortable performing different jobs at. Here is the reason our company built out a price book. Aside from direct parts and direct labor, our company has a customer acquisition cost of nearly $200 (this includes advertising on yelp, google, yahoo, money mailers, magazines, home advisor, etc). We have a structured trainee program for technicians in order for them to become the best technicians in the garage door industry which isn’t cheap. We have one of the best, most user friendly websites for our customers to make their garage door experience as positive as possible. We have a 24/7 emergency service operation for customers who need us after hours or on holidays which other companies do not offer (this includes advanced phone system, paid dispatchers around the clock to field calls & schedule appointments). We also have one of the most advance dispatching systems in our industry which provides you with reminder and real time tracking of our technicians, etc). All of this and still there are just normal expenses such as the company vehicles (monthly payments, gas, insurance, etc), the materials have to be readily available on our company trucks and have to be stored in a company warehouse, the merchant expenses, workers comp, liability insurance and many expenses I’m sure you don’t care to hear about. So again, the reason we offer free estimates is not because we will be the absolute cheapest on each and every job; it’s because we believe potential customers will clearly see how much more professional & qualified we are than our competitors (which are often a 1 man “company”). We believe customers will choose our company because they know we will provide faster, better quality work at their homes. In addition we are one of the few companies that offer a workmanship guarantee & we have the best warranties in our industry. We always answer our phones whenever you call.
