I made a $15.43 purchase at Lowes. The cashier rang the purchase up for $354.64. Not my error, the cashiers. It took Lowes less than 2 minutes to debit the $354.64 purchase from my account. 2 minutes and 49 seconds later a credit was processed by Lowes. The credit has not yet reached my account 26 hours later. I called customer service and was advised my credit could take up to 2 business weeks to be credited back to my bank account. Again, not my error , I did not make a return, the cashier ring up the price of a door that I was not purchasing!! I requested to speak with mgmt after customer service informed that that credit processing would take 2 business weeks. Andy the customer service rep advised me that management did not want to speak with me, their refund policy was posted on their website. I requested 3 times and 3 times was denied access to the mgmt team. Andy declined 3 requests as well to provide the name of the manager they would not speak with me. Again. I did not make a purchase and return it, the cashier errored in the sale, not me. He processed the card and it wasn't until the transaction was completed that he advised of the total that he charged. I should not have to wait for a refund of $ 339.21 for an error that was caused by store personnel nor was I informed of this policy until I called CS and made my complaint. Resolution Sought Get my refund processed immediately

Company states: Based on the limited information in the complaint, I don't know the date this occurred, or receipt number. I also don't recognize an associate named Andy. But, as a general response, when we process refunds, the refund can take up to 14 business days depending the on the customer's bank or card company. We have no authority to produce a faster refund. The customers may check with their bank or credit card company for the status of their refund. We apologize for the inconvenience while in our store.
