So far to have my bathroom exhaust vent replaced, I have bought all needed wiring switches and ventilation. They removed the old by cracking my ceiling by pulling it down without undoing the fasteners then wired it incorrectly and left it in the insulation. The tech said it was fine. I got them to send someone els and he completed the install by drilling a hole in the roof that wasn't supposed to be drilled through. They were supposed to run it through the overhang. A few days later it rained and it was raining through the hole they placed and through the vent pipe into the bathroom on to the ceiling in the bathroom my roof is only 4 years old. They have sent 7 different people out to fix this and they refuse can't make the repairs or don't show up. I have got a quote today for the roof to be fixed for 22797.00. My spouse is pregnant I have a 11 year old and they have been sending people out for 3 months and the haven't done anything my roof is ruined my ceiling is ruined and may have mold growing any rain coming in the forecast is going to leak in to the house. We just bought the house 3 months ago. Lowes has finally started to get the instance involved possibly. I still need to have the rest of the house inspected for the water damage at this moment the damages is at 22797.00 that's just for the roof. Lowes hired ANGI for the install. Water is leaking from the exhort vent into the attic down to the bathroom making the fan unusable as a result of electrical hazards. Resolution Sought The company said they are responsible for any damage. They should own the roof as its only 4 years old. I have to have another company come out to quote me for the bathroom ceiling and any other water damage that has occurred since the bad install.
