Get a full understanding where your customers coming
I called about kitchen cabinets.A young lady from front desk answered.I asked about a sale that I heard was going on .I told her I was told the sale was 40 she said yes come in.I came to the store when I arrived I met employee If I remember correctly Betty.She was great doing her job,got the help I needed but we found out the person at the front desk gave the wrong information.We got confirmation from someone in front office it was 30 off the cabinets.Got a quote written up ,I had to go to the bank for the money so I didn't come back until a couple days later.The next time Betty wasn't there so we met manager I think his name was Michael.We went back and forth about the off of the cabinets.I honestly started getting agitated because I know what I was told.Im legally disabled so going anywhere for me is a task because I'm always in pain . I have rental properties,had a Billiards hall in Sebring,had several other businesses.Most of my supplies came from Lowe's.I know over 20 years I've spent well over 1 to 2 hundred thousand on supplies.During me and Michael's conversation I did say let me leave because I don't want to get mad.His reply to me after basically hard timing me in a nice nasty manner I was told yes that's the best thing.It wasn't a threat from me only frustration because I was told one thing over the phone came as a customer,at the end of the day to be told yeah the best thing would be leave the store from a manager,and him not clarifying the situation
