Customer Complaint

I visit this establishment on December 28, 2023 I requested a pedicure with an overlay on my big toes to shape them better. Approximately one month later, my toe nail started oozing out clear liquid that I could not explain. So I visited a nail salon to have it removed and get a new pedicure doing an overlook of my feet the nail technician noticed the same clear liquid coming from under big my toenail. During the removal of my big toenail my actual real left toenail completely came off. I was devastated emotional that we went ahead and removed the right nail overlay, right big toenail had not come completely off but the majority of it did. I spent $165 at luxury nails and I was extremely upset. I called luxury nails today January 31, 2024 to informed them of this discrepancy, and to also notify them that I would like my entire refund back for my services the manager, which I spoke to whose name I did not get basically told me that it was my fault that I already had a toe infection and that my toenail cannot fall off within a month and that he only gets the best quality and luxury products and that his customers of 10+20 years has never had this happened to them he even went further to show a customer my picture in which he asked me to send him of my toe so that she can clarify that what he was saying was true. The woman I'm assuming is his wife and the second owner to the nail salon is the one who did my toes. I informed him of this. Resolution Sought I would like for this establishment to give me back my full refund and to recheck their expiration dates on their products

Firstly, we are very sorry to hear that one of our customers experienced this. I did not have a word with her about it nor did I receive enough information on this. She sent me a picture of her toenail. From what I've seen, this does not look like our products did such harm on the toenail. There is lots of build up around the nail which can possibly be a toenail fungus. We heard about this a few months after she got her toes done. It does not make any sense. It does not matter where she got her toes done. The way it came off was because of her own toenail. It looks like she came into contact with something for it to come completely off. If you want, I can provide you with a picture of her toenail. She has a better acknowledgement of her toenail. She should know why her toenail came off.

Customer Rebuttal

I did in fact talk with the manager 30 days after I got my pedicure I did not call him a couple of months later that is a untrue statement in which he is telling in this dispute. I called him 30 days to the date. There is no need for him to provide pictures because I have more pictures of my toes both of them. But he again is trying to blame me which is what he did when I first spoke to him on the phone and I assured him that there was nothing wrong with my toes prior to the pedicure and I’ve never had toe fungus and if I had an infected toe as he stated then why would the worker put an overlay on an infected toe if something was wrong with it. But there was absolutely nothing wrong with my big toes at all. I took a video as well. He claimed to me that it was not from his products because his been in business for over 20 years, and none of his other customers complained or had my issue. The overlay material and liquid is what caused my toenails to fall off not just one of them but both of them. I am now left with no big toenails due to their nail materials. The owner takes no accountability but has only blamed me even showed said sent photo to a customer violating my privacy.
