We ordered one light from Home and Lighting on November 4th. They responded the following morning with this message via email "Your order was marked as high-risk by our system, and the bank held the funds until we're able to provide them that you're the credit cardholder owner. With that being said, we need you to please send us any type of legal identification to show the bank. Send us a picture of your driver's license or any valid document as well as a screenshot of the transaction on your bank statement that displays the total amount and our DBA (company name). " Of course I was not about to send them my ID so I contacted the bank and they said they allowed the payment to go through. After waiting until the 17th I asked for an update on my order, they replied with the same message. I told them to cancel and when I found out they had already processed the payment I asked for a refund. Now over a full month later, they have blocked my phone number from being able to call their customer service number, I used my wife's number and they blocked that number as well. They stopped responding to my emails. I contacted a Rep via chat and spent hours trying to get in touch with someone who could process the refund for me. The supervisor asked me to wait 24 hours for a phonecall that never came. It is now 27 hours and he is "reviewing my case" but not making any attempt to contact me as promised. This entire company is a sham and a disgrace. No product has ever arrived. Resolution Sought My money should be returned immediately. And someone who actually cares about this company's public relations should contact me and hear my story in detail and do something to reform the company or shut it down before a legal action forces them to do so.

My wife and I placed separate orders online with Home and Lighting on May 27th and canceled them right away by responding to the email confirming the order. We did not receive any response from the company regarding our requests for cancellation, but we did receive an email telling us that they will be shipping the items the same day. No response was provided so we both contacted our credit card company to report the issue and they are investigating the matter. On June 26th we received an email with the shipping information with items to be delivered that same day (4 weeks later after the items were supposed to have been shipped). Upon receiving and opening the packages, we discovered that they shipped a sample of a tile floor. My wife called Home and Lighting on June 26th to discuss the issues and the guy started screaming at her and hung up on her. We also called the distribution company that he used to ship them by the name of Sherpac; no help from them as they were told by Home and Lighting to ship a tile sample. The company is run by a one man show who calls himself Alan. He runs another business by the name of Magnetic Rapture with the same business address (residential address). This guy has been running a scam and has defrauded many people. We saw numerous complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other customer organizations for both companies (Home and Lighting and Magnetic Rupture) Resolution Sought issue refund
