After major remodeling done on small house bought in August, A non typical cleaning of the house needed done. Needed cleaners to clean up all dust, dirt, drywall mud from every room and every surface other than the newly painted walls. I'm not living at the house (living 1/2 hour away and work nights). My son who is a contractor and who has also been doing a lot of the inside work, hired them for me. I did not know of their 24 hr (redo) policy. I called them 3 days later (leaving a message) after going to the house to check in on progress. The only thing I saw that was done was a very light wipe down of kitchen cabinets and kitchen countertop. Drywall mud still all over floors, frig and food storage cabinet not wiped down on the top. Drywall dust still just showing or smeared and not cleaned up everywhere else. Sent an email to them to ask about making things right, no response. Called again today and just got told that since I did not respond within the 24hrs that I just loose the $400. I told them I was going to contact you and let others know not to use their business. They cannot be trusted to do the job they are hired for. What I cannot figure out is how they could do a checklist and mark off of it that work had been done with a clear conscious of doing a good job. Resolution Sought A refund would be nice only because I have to hire someone else to do the job right. I don't trust that they would redo the job correctly.
