I just want them to do better.

My wife and I were were charged ridiculous cleaning fees after moving out of our apartment. We swept and cleaned floors and walls and were charged over $100 per room that they claimed weren't cleaned. We also were charged for broken blinds that we told them, prior to us moving in, were broken. We called about the furnace not working on December and when we moved out in February it still was not fixed and appeared to be little attempt to actually fix it. We were forced to move due to the broken furnace during a snowstorm around Christmas. The temperatures inside the house got down into the 30's. We were told when moving in that since we were taking over a prior tenants lease before their full term that we had to accept the apartment "as is". We also found someone to take over our lease before the full term and are being charged for the apartments poor conditions. They claim to have pictures of the "filthy apartment", but have yet to present them to us. I just want them to do better. They are scamming people out of money and it needs to be stopped.
