Fully functioning website is misleading. No customer service, and now I'm worried about credit card fraud.

I was shopping for a gift during christmas season 2013. I was brought to the site through a link from a search engine. Everything looked legitimate so I purchased an order on their secure system. I received an email receipt with confirmation number. A week later when the package hadn't arrived I checked my credit card and it hadn't been charged yet. This is when things got weird. The link that brought me to their site skipped the homepage with a notice to all customers marked "URGENT". If I had read this I wouldn't have tried to buy anything. It attacked customers who wrote negative reviews because they hadn't received their purchases and hadn't been refunded the money yet. It spoke of the woes of a small business ravaged by storms, and an owner who fell ill, using CAPS to emphasize their plight of being "abused" by angry customers. At the end of the notice it dated itself as being posted in 2011. Then I read the "recent reviews" section, all of which were positive and none of which dated past 2011. So then I became worried that my credit card info is on a ghost site that hasn't been updated, but somebody has still been paying for the domain name every month for 2 years. I also found that nobody else carried the product I ordered (not even the manufacturer), and I'm not totally sure its even being made anymore. I called their posted number several times and nobody picks up, and there is no answering machine. All of my emails requesting to cancel the purchase have been ignored. This is during Christmas, so why they are unreachable during business hours on their busiest season is beyond me. I live less than 10 miles away from the business, so I drove to their posted address. What is there is called Marina Towers, an apartment complex and office suites type of place. Valet parking only. I had no money so I couldn't explore and find it, but it seemed weird to mark their address as the entire office building and not mention a floor or suite. Also seems weird for a self proclaimed struggling business to be located in a place that obviously has a much higher rent than many other options in the area. So long story over, now I am having to cancel my credit card and have them issue a new one because i feel like the site is designed to steal credit info. I even contacted the web building site they went through to tell them about this, but only got a customer service rep with a pre determined speech who would only help their customers, and directed me to call an automated line. Very creepy that nobody affiliated with this site can be reached.
