I called in to make payments for a last due balance. After I placed the payment and asked what were my options at that time I was told I needed to make two more payments again to do anything with my account. This lead to me inquiring about my unemployment insurance and Mariner Finance gave me information on that and mailed out to me forms to fill out. Upon receiving the forms I contacted their company used for insurance and was informed that their policy was 30 days unemployed before they can accept the claim. I then contacted Mariner Finance again explaining the unemployment insurance would not work and spoke further about what was going on with my account. I was then informed by Mariner Finance that I only needed to make one payment and then they could work with my account again. I infom4ed the agent that I was told I had to make two more payments on the last call by the another agent. She apologized and informed me I should have not been told that and there was only one payment to make. I infomred her that why was I told that misformation. They informed me that they were sorry for that and wasn't sure why I was told that. This then lead to me still trying to make another payment which could have been handled if I was told the proper information the prior week on the phone call with Mariner Finance. They will not accept responsibility for noe putting me back when I'm doing my part and trying to pay them to make my account up to date. Resolution Sought I would like them to accept responsibility for the misformation provided by their agent and bring Mt account to current with my current payment because I wouldn't be two payments behind and be up to date if I was provided the correct information the first time instead of being lied to and potential taken for more money than Mariner Finance was even owed.
