We hired Manuel Martir of Martir Construction to replace all electrical wiring in our home, to replace the lighting fixtures in our kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway and to change the fuse/electrical box in the garage. Payment was to be made by purchasing appliances for Manuel Martir's home in Livermore. We purchased the following appliances at Airport Home Appliance in Redwood City, California; Benchmark Island Ho, Brand Bosch cost was $1,709.99, 28 cu. ft. 4-Door Refrigerator, Samsung cost was $2,199.99, and OTR Brand GEA cost was $200.00 for a total of $4,500.43 includes sales tax of $390.45. Items were delivered to his home on August 28, 2016. Manuel Martir never finished rewiring the electrical or putting in the new lighting fixtures or replacing the fuse/electrical box as agreed. He didn't know what he was doing and did everything wrong. He crossed wires and didn't know how to uncross them, he made the holes too large for the new led fixtures to fit in the kitchen and in the living room. Whatever he did we lost light in our bathroom, in all six (6) closets, the porch outlets didn't work, and our doorbell stopped working. We finally let him go and asked for him to pay us back for the appliances we purchased for his home, we never got a response. Resolution Sought To give us the amount we spent on our credit card to purchase his kitchen appliances. The total amount he owes us is $4,500.43.
