On about May 15 2022, I purchased a 2022 Maserati Levante from Maserati of White Plains$ 126,000. On July 15 2022, after two months of having the vehicle, the drivers side seat belt compartment came apart. The plastic casing was now in front of me blocking my vision and prohibiting me from driving the vehicle. The seat belt became unusable. I contacted the dealership about the problem and was given a date to come in for repair. July 29 2022, I arrived at the dealership for the repair. While there, I questioned the service manager. Why would the entire housing compartment for the drivers seat belt come off? I was assured that the problem would be repaired. I was given back the vehicle as being repaired that day. Everything was great upon leaving the dealership. The next day July 30 2022, the entire housing compartment for the drivers side seat belt came off again. This time it occurred while the vehicle was in motion. I had to pull off road for my safety. Being it was after 5pm Saturday and the dealership was closed on Sunday, I had to wait until Monday July 31, 2022 to contact the dealership once again. I returned back to the dealership once again on Aug 02 2022. This time, I was informed that a new part had to be ordered. I waited over four months for the part to arrive. During that time I was unable to operate my vehicle safely due to a seat belt that wasn't functional. However, my monthly lease payments of $1,500 and insurance payments of $205 had to be paid. First, I was Resolution Sought I'm out $7,500 and my car is unsafe to drive. Replace the damaged part.
