I am writing to formally report an issue with flooring purchased from your company for a job at La Placita restaurant. At the time of purchase, I clearly explained to your sales representative, Mr. Morse, that the flooring was intended for use in a restaurant. Based on that information, Mr. Morse recommended a specific flooring product and assured me it was appropriate for this type of commercial environment. The flooring was installed exactly according to the instructions provided by Mr. Morse. However, less than one year after installation, the flooring has begun buckling and lifting at the corners. This has created a serious safety concern, as both the restaurant owner and I are worried that someone could trip and get injured. Due to this issue, I have already had to purchase additional flooring and replace several panels to reduce the risk of accidents. This should not be happening with a product that was specifically recommended for a restaurant setting. Resolution Sought Given that the incorrect flooring was sold based on the advice of your sales representative, I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and that an appropriate resolution be offered, including compensation for the defective material and the costs incurred to replace it.
