I received a flyer in the mail for the Matthews car dealership in Bucyrus for their promotion last month. My flyer said I won $1000. I called the dealership that night and was told to bring it in and fill out some paperwork ( that it would only take 10 min. ). The flyer said no purchase necessary down at the bottom. I let the sales person know I was a winner and she dismissed it and said let's get this paperwork filled out. I spent 2 hours at dealership. I did test drive 2 vehicles. I currently am not working but my husband gets a retirement check from the military and I offered them the estimated amount of his check because he did not come with me. . The brochure said Jay Kraviec or current resident on it. I am a current resident. My husband and I both have excellent credit and I was told I could buy the vehicle I was test driving and start paying in 90 days ( "plenty of time to fet a job". My husband did not wish to come into the dealership that day. I did get him on the phone and asked about the vehicle and he wanted me to get an estimate on a trade in value on my Jeep. The sales lady said they were to busy but come back later in the week ( basically saying bring your husband in and we will be happy to do it). By the end I was just frustrated. She had taken my keys to get the estimate but after she came back she held my keys and when I told her I did not think we would be purchasing but I would talk to my husband some more . I took my keys and left. Resolution Sought I would like what the flyer advertised. It stated I won $1000 cash, no purchase necessary. I gave the information necessary for the win. I have pictures of the vehicle I test drove and the winning form., they have record of me stopping in because they took my ID and ran a credit report.

That transaction was generated out of Mathews Chevrolet not Chevrolet Buick of Bucyrus…. We never did any type of mailer….. we are brand new….. I would suggest very highly that you direct your complaint to the correct individuals…. that would be the previous owners… Your client's issues are not ours….What is the exact date of this issue?
