I'm writing to file a formal complaint regarding Mayo's Plumbing, whose work on my property has been unprofessional, substandard, and has caused significant financial loss and ongoing issues. Despite numerous attempts to resolve these matters, the contractor has been unresponsive, further aggravating the situation. Background: 1. Incorrect Recommendations: Mayo's Plumbing recommended the purchase of specific heating and cooling units for my building, costing me over $60,000. These units were later determined to be the wrong type for the building's requirements. 2. Faulty Installation: • Despite the incorrect units, Mayo's Plumbing proceeded with installation without notifying me of the issue or suggesting an alternative. • The installation was performed poorly, with multiple holes made in the building façade to run drain lines. These drain lines are now dripping water around the building, causing property damage. • Some return air vents were improperly covered with drywall, further impeding the system's function. 3. System Performance Issues: • The HVAC units are not functioning as intended. My tenants have frequently complained about inadequate heating in their apartments. • The systems continue to fail, leaving the property with unresolved heating and cooling issues. 4. Unresponsiveness and Additional Costs: • Every time I contact Mayo's Plumbing to address the issues, the contractor does not respond personally. Instead, he sends othe Resolution Sought The contractor must return to the property immediately to:Evaluate the entire system and correct all installation errors. Replace the incorrect units with appropriate models for the building. Repair the damage caused by poor installation, including the building façade and drainage lines. Cover all expenses incurred from hiring other companies to address issues caused by his poor workmanship. Provide a proper receipt and warranty for the work performed.
