Check engine light on. They claimed I needed an entire new catalytic converter which I doubt. They claimed I could not pass state inspection and update my registration. Resolution Sought Refund some of my money.

Brake booster failure caused a near miss. Wife driving with 5 year old daughter in the vehicle. The stopping force required on the brake pedal became excessive and the stopping (safe braking) distance significantly increased causing emotional distress. My understanding is this part (brake booster) has a defective diaphragm that deteriorates over time. The extended warranty created for this particular issue did not cover the vehicle at the time of the failure. Resolution Sought Reimbursement of repairs and recall of the the defective part.

Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to evaluate your request. The following concern was reported to us: reimbursement for break booster. In order to investigate your concerns, we did the following: reviewed Mazda's warranty history for the subject vehicle; After accomplishing the above, we have determined that; this vehicle is not a candidate for reimbursement since all applicable factor warranties have expired. As a result we are unable to fulfill your request currently.
