Bought my car through Toyota dealership but because it's a Hyundai it needs to be fixed by Hyundai for the warranty. My car has been burning oil for 2 years. I constantly brought it to rt 2 Hyundai and they said they can't find the problem. Every oil change was done at rt2 Hyundai. I told them I was putting in between 1 and 3 quarts of oil before the next oil change. They told me that's within company standards. After the the last oil change my car lost acceleration and the front end was shaking. I had it towed to rt 2 Hyundai. Rt 2 Hyundai is charging me $2000 for an engine tear. So the warranty inspector can decide whether they will cover the repairs or not. If I pay 2000 I still have a chance of the warranty company saying no to the repairs and I lose $2000. But suddenly rt 2 Hyundai knows what's wrong with it and all the parts that need to be replaced without doing an engine tear down. How is that possible? They already want over $300 for the diagnostics fee. Now another 2000 for an engine tear down. They couldn't figure out for 2 years why it was burning oil but they know what parts need to be fixed without tearing down the engine?? Because they kept blowing me off I ran out of time for the lemon law. Resolution Sought Fix my car like they should of the first time I had a complaint it was burning oil.

Customer Rebuttal

Consumer states; Basically I give up. Rt 2 hyundai told me if I get my car off their property they won't charge me the diagnostic fee of $357. This is by far the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. I am forced to go buy a new car even though my current car still has a warrenty on it. Thanks for trying to help.
