After taking my car in for an engine recall the dealership recommended that other repairs that are not covered be done to insure that the car performs optimally. This included a repair to the coolant hose and a full brake job that cost me $1600.00 after we picked up the vehicle the brake light came on and after checking there was no brake fluid or coolant fluid in the reservoirs. I called them immediately and explained the issue. Since the dealership is 30 miles from my home i told the tech that i did know if they forgot to refill or is there another issue. I informed him that we would refill and let them know. Well the light came back on and we brought the car back in only for them to tell me that I need to pay another $840 because this is unrelated. This is the 2nd time i have taken my vehicle in to only have a related issue happen in less than 24hrs of pick up. I am very frustrated and i feel like they are not taking ownership of the problem and respond by telling me that I verbally approved and that my 2017 vehicle is old and has a lot of miles on it. Resolution Sought I don't think that I should be charged for this brake leaking issues as they had my car to replace the brakes but claim they would not be aware of a leak and that it must have happened when we picked up the car. I would like my $840 refunded to me.
