My mother's dying wish was to donate her body to science. When she passed we called medcure and they approved her to be donated. We asked if the funeral home could cleaned her up so we can view her before she got picked up. The man on the phone said yes. I let the funeral home know. They cleaned her face off and stitched her mouth shut. The next day medcure called me and told me that they couldn't take her because of them cleaning her face up. I asked why he didn't tell me that over the phone and he told me that he wasn't sure but when he spoke to his manager after he told us and the funeral home it was okay the manager said she could no longer be donated. So instead of getting my mom's final wish done and for it to be free, we had to pay the funeral home money that we don't have. I asked for a call back from the manager and I never received one. Resolution Sought I want them to pay my family back the money we had to spend to get her cremated. And I want the company to make ALL their employees educated on their protocols. I think they need to be looked into because I don't trust them.
