I ordered 2 hearing aids with a money back /free unconditional 30 day trial. The units arrived without a charger, they explained that I needed to purchase a specific adaptor to do that. I called them to explain that I don't want to do business with a company that is deceptive in there advertising. On returning the 200.00 hearing aids I was informed that there will be a 99.00 restocking fee. There was no warning of this on my accepting there free trial offer. I also was that warmed that in order to use the 2 units a adapter would need to be purchased. My opinion is that this company will make more money on the hidden return fee than selling the actual units. Resolution Sought Not to charge such an outrageous restocking fee and my consequence is only a 8.00 return shipping cost, not a 99.00 cost of doing business. I mailed the unused units back within 3 days of receiving them.

Greetings from Aidion! Mr. Weber purchased Aidion hearing devices on June 17, 2021. The kit includes the case, USB charger, rubber tips, the hearing devices, screw driver, cleaning brush, and the user manual. It does not include the adapter for charging due to its cost which in return, will also increase the cost of the entire kit for the Aidion hearing devices. We also believe that in this modern world, the majority of the population have charging adapters at home to charge their phones and other gadgets and with that being said, we can save cost in manufacturing adapters and our customers can take advantage of our hearing devices at a cheaper cost. On June 21, 2021, the Aidion hearing devices were delivered to Mr. Weber's address via US Postal Service with the tracking number 9400111108400256961866. He then called three days later, June 24, 2021, to complain that the Aidion does not have a power adapter to charge them. He was given option that includes sending him a free adapter but he refused to do so. He insisted in returning the merchandise. He was reminded of the $99.00 handling fee that will be deducted to the refund which is stated in the terms in our website. Please refer to https://aidion.com/policies/terms-of-service for the full details of our 30 day right to return. The purpose of the handling fee is to cover the cost of the following: 1. Shipping the device to the customer's address. Aidion does not charge customers any shipping fees. 2. Remanufacture returned items as we are dedicated to making sure that our customers receive brand new equipment Mr. Weber was given an RMA# to reference the return on June 24, 2021 and will only receive a refund of $100.00 out of the $199.00 he paid for the merchandise as that was his last request and that is to return Aidion after providing him multiple options to address his concerns regarding charging the equipment. It has not been resolved and it is not likely it ever will be. This company advertises a 30 day money back guarante. I took that at face value and did not research if they were a company of integrity. It was only when I called about sending out hearing aids with the ability to charge them that I was informed that I could return them with $100.00 "restocking fee. A side note that it cost me another $8.00 to ship them back. So far they have not even refunded the promised refund amount.

We have further reviewed the request of the customer and our return policy states that Aidion will not withhold a handling fee for the following states: California, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia. If the Device returned to us is damaged in any way, you will not receive a refund. Mr. Weber's order was shipped to Nevada therefore he is eligible for a full refund once the merchandise is returned. An email confirmation was sent to him with the RMA # R-56766E6B1A01 with the amount of $199.00 indicated once the device is returned. He may contact our customer support hotline at 18556803749 anytime between 8 am - 9:30 pm EST to provide the tracking number of the return and expedite the refund process.
